Some stories just come full circle.
Tiana grew up on her family’s golf course in Kamloops, seeing firsthand the hard work required for a pristine course. Inspired by her entrepreneurial family, she resolved to start her own venture one day, charting a path through UBC and global consulting to master the strategy behind business.
Eric has always been obsessed with how things move, from building go-karts as a kid to engineering UBC Formula One cars. He eventually became a Professional Engineer, working on self-driving vehicles.
After working for over 7 years in Toronto and Paris—and exploring 40 countries along the way—the call of BC and the drive to build something of their own brought Eric and Tiana back home to Kelowna.
Today, Albatross Automation unites their roots with their expertise. By combining Eric’s autonomous tech background with Tiana’s entrepreneurial drive and business strategy, they are helping Canadian golf courses embrace a more sustainable, automated future.
